AR series (2009 - 2019). Some 25's will fit depending on the rim but, in most cases, a 23mm is the max.
AR series (2020+). The AR can accept up to a 30mm-wide tire, measured, per ISO standards.
Brougham series. depending on the brand of tire and wheels (if you aren't using the stock ones) you may be able to fit a 30mm tire.
FR (rim-brake) series. The bikes come with 25’s with passing clearance. We have seen many 28’s work (without proper clearance on each side) but it depends on tire maker and rim width if you have switched out the rims from stock.
FR Disc series. ISO standards dictate that there should be sufficient clearance of at least 4mm on both sides of a tire that accurately measures 28mm wide when full inflated. Based on these standards, we cannot therefore recommend any tire that measures wider than 28mm. Different rim and tire combinations will produce varying widths, due to discrepancies and differences among manufacturers, models, inner rim widths and other factors.
F series. The bikes come with 23’s with passing clearance. We have seen many 25’s work (but without proper clearance each side) it does depend on tire maker and rim width if you have switched out the rims from stock.
V series. Officially, to pass ISO with a 42 clearance circle, we can only recommend a 30mm tire. However, depending on tire and rim combinations, in some cases 32-34 labeled tire may fit.
Verza Speed Aluminum series. Officially, to pass ISO with a 44 clearance circle, we can recommend a 32mm tire. However, depending on tire and rim combinations, in some cases 34-36 labeled tire may fit, the closest fit is between the chainstays, we cannot check every rim/tire configuration.
Verza Speed Carbon series. The bikes comes with 28mm tires that give 4mm of clearance, which is required by bicycle makers under ISO guidelines. We have seen many tires labeled '30c' work (but without 4mm clearance each side), so it will depend on tire maker and rim width if you have switched out the rims from stock.
VR series. Officially, to pass ISO with a 42 clearance circle, we can only recommend a 30mm tire. However, depending on tire and rim combinations, in some cases 32-34 labeled tire may fit.
Z (rim brake) series. The bikes comes with 25’s that give 4mm of clearance which is required by bicycle makers under ISO guidelines . We have seen many 28’s work (but without 4mm clearance each side) it does depend on tire maker and rim width if you have switched out the rims from stock.
Z (disc brake) series. The pinch point is actually at the chainstay bridge. There is a small bump that fills in where the old rim caliper attached. This bump hits most 27mm tires. 25mm tires is the max in most cases.
